How are you fixed for winter?

Raceblades fitted , half price from Gearshifts sale. Much easier than trying to squeeze in full sized guards.

Added some top mounted brake levers as well , sold as cycle cross levers.

Im amazed these aren't more popular, good braking power, you have all the benefits of drops with the varied riding positions, plus the ability to sit up and use the straight section of the bar when commuting.

Not bad looking for a nearly 20 year old bike

Looks good Ian. Perfect for all year round cycling. How is the Kogswell rear hub going? I'm thinking of fixing the Mercian and was going to get one of those but Hubjub don't stock them anymore. I may have to treat myself to a Goldtec rear hub instead. Nice.

Im really enjoying riding it at the moment, its odd when you switch back to a freewheel bike like I did for the padley gorge ride last night
